Convert ass to txt
Converted on your device. Files never leave this tab.
Nothing is uploaded
The converter runs inside this page. Cut your network after it loads and it still works.
No account, no daily limit
No sign-up, no daily limit, no watermark, no queue behind other people's files. Batch as many ASS files as you like.
Real TXT output
Every cue parsed and rewritten in the target format — not a renamed extension.
About ASS
Advanced SubStation Alpha
Version 4+ of the SubStation Alpha script format, used by Aegisub and anime fansubbing, with styles, fonts, positioning, karaoke timing and effects. Use it when captions need precise styling or placement; convert to SRT for players that ignore those features.
About TXT
Plain text
Text with no fonts, styles or layout, usually encoded as UTF-8 today. Use it when you only need the words, for search, scripts, or pasting without formatting coming along.
