About QOI
Quite OK Image Format
A lossless image format published by Dominic Szablewski in 2021, designed to encode and decode much faster than PNG at similar file sizes. Its whole specification fits on one page. Use it in games and tools that load many images and care more about decode speed than support in other apps.
About TGA
Truevision TGA
A raster format created by Truevision in 1984 for its graphics cards, storing pixels raw or with run-length encoding and supporting an alpha channel. Game engines and 3D tools still read it for textures. Use it when a game engine, 3D package or older video tool asks for TGA textures.
