Real HDR output

About PBM
Portable Bitmap
The 1-bit black and white member of the Netpbm family: uncompressed pixels after a short text header. Use it as monochrome input for tools such as potrace and fax or OCR utilities.
About HDR
Radiance HDR
The HDR format from the Radiance renderer, storing each pixel as red, green and blue values with a shared exponent byte, so it holds a far wider brightness range than 8-bit images. Most HDRI environment maps ship in this format. Use it to light 3D scenes, or convert from it to get an ordinary 8-bit preview.
